Why we built this
Data and leadership training should belong to the communities most impacted.
We built DatosLab because we believe data and leadership training should be accessible, and tied to real-life projects led by the communities who are most impacted. Too often, that training sits behind a paywall, a degree, or a language barrier, far from the organizers, researchers, and program staff doing the work on the ground.
We wanted to bring that training into these spaces directly: in plain language, in more than one language, and grounded in the kinds of campaigns, research, and civic projects our communities are already leading. Every course here is built so that what you learn maps onto work you can actually use.
